Tyrone is the type of person that makes the world a better place with his decency. Souness is the type of person that would sit in a flat roof pub all day glaring at anyone he doesn't know as he wants to be the local hardman.

Fair play to her. What a great and articulate defence of him.

What she said is excellent.

And if you want to know why Souness is still employed, read some of the comments. Like many so called pundits, he appeals mainly to the lowest common denominator. The type that wants bants, hardmen, it's a man's game etc. A man like Tyrone scares that type.

A very strong defence of Tyrone by Laura Woods this morning on talkSport.

She was really excellent this morning in what she said, well worth a quick watch.

Souness won't like being put back in his box a woman.  Well said Laura

Thanks for posting the link to that video.

Absolutely superb, there you go Jim White, get Laura Woods on with Souness to discuss Tyrone Mings. She seems to be aware of his achievements.

Exactly.  Tyrone threatens and terrifies that kind of individual with his intellect.  The world in general needs more of the Tyrone Mings I'lk.

More journalists like her please, eloquent, intelligent, well spoken and prepared to make the case without rancour or hubris.

I really hope Tyrone stays with us for the rest of his career.
He’s my favourite player since Paul McGrath.
Absolute class act, and he even shut the idiots up behind me on Saturday who normally slag him off constantly with his motm performance.

Fingers, thumbs and phones, it’s a bloody struggle in todays world for English and grammar. Sometimes when I look back at what I have written I hold my head in shame.

I bet Souness wouldn’t though.
