I wouldn't. He's nowhere near top half Premier League quality.
Mings absolutely should have started today. Losing the captaincy, against his old club with a world cup in few months time? He'd have been fired up to prove a few people wrong. But no, Gerrard decides he knows best and issues another very public humiliation of him

If it's the manager v Mings, I'm 'Team Ty' every day of the week, I'd wager he's done more for the club than Gerrard ever will. Terrible decision to strip him of the captaincy and criminal to double down on that by also dropping him in favour of Konsa who was worse last season and is returning from injury. Now it's a triple whammy with this 'look me in the eye' bollocks. Gerrard is acting like he is prime Alex Ferguson when in reality he is a rookie manager less achievements than Alex McLeish.
