There just aren't many centre backs who are better. The way the game is these days, the centre back has a really tough job, the way Gerrard plays puts even more pressure on.Every centre back makes mistakes, even Van Dijk, who is probably the best out there. Mings makes them, we don't have many people mopping up, which is something he does a lot of to cover for everyone else too.His vocal side is proper leadership, on and off the pitch.
