Yes, I get the impression there's a bit of that going on as well.

Yep, there were voices around me before the West Ham game saying he should 'stick to football'. Clowns.

Well done, Tyrone.

Apart from one slice he was fantastic today, I just don't get the hate at all.

Superb today just as he was against southampton. I understand why people get frustrated by the mistakes but the amount of shit he gets is ridiculous.

He's one of the first names on the team sheet for me.

Do wonder if having someone with Gerrard’s profile will mean that he’ll pull Mings up if he is sloppy, whereas I got the feeling that might not have been the case after Terry left.

He's back to last seasons levels for me.
Great work all day and excellent to keep the ball in play before his goal.

He was very good. Heading everything away, scored, clean sheet.

More of the same next week against Benteke please, Tyrone.

He's the leader, the main vocal point of the team now and the organising general. I don't give a fuck if Kipper, right wing Tory ****** don't like it that a black bloke has a voice and wants to hear it heard. Long may it continue. He's out leader and he got this club from word go and I think he deserves backing.

Great player, even better bloke.

He was superb yesterday. A real leaders performance. That said, i still think he might possibly benefit from not being captain and letting him concentrate on his own game but if he keeps that level of performance up, then Gerrard might stick with him.

You could be right, but then I reckon McGinn would be the next candidate and you could probably make the same point about him. Anyway, superb finish at the end. Apart from one crap ball, he just kept it simple all game, and he looks a million times better when he does.
