Well, I like him as a person and think his public stance on anti-racism is great and to be heartily commended. I also think he's not half as good a player as he thinks he is, and that he needs to cut out the stupid errors that he's been making every season since he's been here that cost us loads of points.

Have only watched in real time and the replays shown during the match but I felt that, although there is no doubt that Mings' back pass was short and he should bear the main responsibility, Steer hesitated and back peddled where a more assertive goalkeeper like Martinez would probably have come for it and reached the ball first. I could be wrong but that was my immediate feeling.
