I don't want to boo Tyrone but will boo Tyrone for taking the knee to his corporate masters. Who do you think Tyrone is takiing the knee to?
I thought Tyrone played very well against Croatia. I've been a critic of his concentration and performances at times, but he's generally been an excellent signing. Good in the air, loves to block, brave, fast, strong, has a lovely left foot, too. Everything I want from a centre back really.Off the field, what's not to like? Sorry chrisf, but I don't really see where you're coming from. If you don't agree with Mings taking the knee, that's your choice, fair enough. But booing him and others for doing so, I don't get that. For me it's jumping on the bandwagon of unpleasantness.

Other than the Villa, my other sporting passion is F1. I'm a massive Lewis fan have been since he first appeared. I think F1 handled the whole thing much better. There were initial suggestions obviously from Sky that the drivers that didn't want to take the knee were a bit racist but the drivers stuck to their guns and now they all gather for a 'We Race As One' signal that they're all thoroughly virtuous before every race.I'd boo that too if I was there because I'd paid to watch them race cars not to show me how caring they were and suggest implicitly that I was a bit less caring than I should be.

I didn't expect my point to be proven literally true quite so quickly.

Who do you think Tyrone is takiing the knee to?Isn't Aston Villa his corporate master? Seriously though, the fact that people believe nonsense like this is why we can't have nice things. People will choose to believe whatever confirms their own biases. The fact that Tyrone has articulated why he kneels, several times - along with other England players and the team's manager - is of absolutely no interest to some people. And it's because they're so deep into it now that it's impossible to admit they're wrong. Instead, they'll latch onto anything that makes them feel 'correct', even if that means pretending the England players are all lying. Cognitive dissonance is a powerful master.tive Cognitive dissonance is long words for "you're being lied to". It can be fucking hard work.

They should play some of this on the big screen before England games.
