Who do you think Tyrone is takiing the knee to?The vast majority of people know why he’s doing it. It’s a peaceful protest against racism. If you boo that, you look like a racist. Bothered?

If they could they would, because most of the booers don’t want an end to racism (the others don’t think it’s an issue). That's fair comment. I only comment (esp on this thread) because I don't think it's a few prats booing and I don't think they're booing because they're racists.I have huge respect for Tyrone and his team mates intentions but I'd boo if I was there because I think in this choice of symbolic gesture is divisive and we don't need stuff that's divisive.he But booing your own players isn't divisive?

Who do you think Tyrone is takiing the knee to?Isn't Aston Villa his corporate master? Seriously though, the fact that people believe nonsense like this is why we can't have nice things. People will choose to believe whatever confirms their own biases. The fact that Tyrone has articulated why he kneels, several times - along with other England players and the team's manager - is of absolutely no interest to some people. And it's because they're so deep into it now that it's impossible to admit they're wrong. Instead, they'll latch onto anything that makes them feel 'correct', even if that means pretending the England players are all lying. Cognitive dissonance is a powerful master.
I'm genuinely ashamed that someone from my home county could be as incapable with the language as this.
