He shaped to make him go out towards the touchline line but got it totally wrong and ended up in a mess. It's his inability to even turn onto his right side that is undoing time and again. Same for that chance in the first minute. He tries to over compensate by being smart and trying a trick or flick on his left. I've said it before with Tyrone too, but sometimes he goes for the awkward body position (as you say, often using his left side because he won't use his right). He stretches uncomfortably, or dives in on an awkward position. Apart from increasing the chances of him fouling someone or missing a challenge and being left for dead, it also puts my heart in mouth, that he'll do himself a mischief. He's had injuries before and serious ones, and really needs to do something about his body positioning sometimes, and start working on being able to use his right foot to tackle. He was fouled ahead of second offence putting him off-balance in dealing with the ball. I'm not saying he's not prone to the odd mistake, but the ref handled the 2nd situation as badly as he did the 1st. In the 1st the over-rated palace twunt should have been sent off for his foul on McGinn and then his ott reaction to Tyrone (2 offences, but only one was dealt with meekly).

How come VAR does not pick this up.https://twitter.com/i/status/1343115819891486720

Anyone have any idea if Dermot Gallagher was on at all discussing the weekends controversies. Be interesting to hear his opinion on Zaha's punch on Ming's, if Sky are brave enough to show it?
