MingsWatch: he's posted two Instagram stories today, one from Bath Royal Crescent, so he ain't much closer to B6.

Bath is closer to Birmingham than Bournemouth (I think). Plus today is the birthday of that boy who wrote begging him to join Villa on his birthday. Tyrone sent a message to him saying he hopes he has a happy birthday. He's on his way up and has stopped off at Bath for a bit of history and culture.

And a lovely place it is too.  I was there last year for the first time since I was there on a school trip aged about nine.

I think if he posts anything along the lines of being anywhere near Birmingham the internet will spontaneously combust.

As I understand and read elsewhere Bath is his home town and does excellent work with the homeless in the city there.

Certainly closer to the truth than mike's version of events, although kudos mike for the unwavering optimism ;)

He’s popped into the homeless shelter/shop/whatever it is he does and is having a last ice cream with his mom before he drives up to Villa Park to sign with a Skype link to the birthday boy. Then he’s coming around to mine for a couple of beers.

Mings in Portugal and not with Bournemouth on first day of training. Allegedly talking to Villa reps.
