I hope you've packed a lot of water and sunscreen, looks like it's going to be a very hot first day or 2. I think the report earlier was saying it'll feel like 36-37c for the players so might be one where the spinners do more work than you might expect on day 1.

It’s got the feel of a 330+ for maybe 2 to it at the minute…

It feels inevitable that NZ bat for 5 and a bit sessions, let England bake and then frazzled batsmen minds see England get bowled out reasonably cheaply in their first innings.

Not a criticism. It would be the same if England were batting now. The toss was absolutely critical

The one thing I would say is that a series defeat here, after the shambles of the winter and then all the crap with Stokes and Atkinson, that surely that would leave Key and McCullum with untenable positions
