Good luck Wood and Archer you’ve been given plenty to work with.

Smith double hundred?

Good start, let's keep the pressure on.

Problem is that’s a brilliant over, but we need them about 20 of those overs in a row.

Problem is they won’t gift their wickets like we did.

Labuschange is looking worryingly solid.

I see England, having the chance to put a days play into a 35 year old quick bowlers legs decided instead to take the option of demonstrating why 20/20 is not suited to Test cricket. 12/5 ffs.

We have to challenge the stumps more. Labuschange and Smith have been able to leave too much and we have less than zero margin given the batting “effort”.

They’re going to be stuck like limpets there hitting 1’s and 2’s for the next 20 overs.

If we can get the other bowlers looking as dangerous as Jof the game is still on here. His first wicket was almost unplayable that early in the innings and the 2nd was a superb line and length to batsman who are trying to leave most.
