Brook is something else.

23 Tests and averaging over 60, Incredible numbers.

Its his record away from home which is quite extroadinary.

Averaging 90 away from home at a strikerate of around a run a ball.

Fair play to him, test match hat tricks are pretty rare.

Fucking Crawley, his inability to read the game situation is impressive.

Crawley gone.

He may get nothing, but I like Bethell he sets up well and he’s looks much more a three than Pope (who looks very good in middle order). Interesting dilemma when Smith comes back.

Hopefully can take full advantage of this strong position now.  Been a helter-skelter test so far with plenty of action.

On a side note, New Zealand really does look a great place  to watch cricket.

96! Frustrating for Bethell but quite a vindication for the selectors.

To have a 2nd innings lead of 500+ at the end of day 2 is pretty incredible really.  Shame Bethell couldn't make his century, but still a great knock.

Yeah I look at the grounds and it’s one I’d love to go to.

That is another fantastic win and a great series win, especially as they are coming off the back of 3-0 series win in India.

I really like the look of the side at the moment and Atkinson and Carse have been really good additions so far.  It has a really nice balance to it, but still think that balance is heavily reliant in Stokes being able to bowl.

I think circumstances determined the make-up of this team but as the changes have been so successful, I don't see how Jamie Smith gets back in at the moment, barring injuries.

I agree, though the next test is some way off now and a lot can change in that time.  Pope has looked more comfortable down the order and although he's kept well so far, I do wonder if it might be found wanting at what could be crucial times.
