When he lifts the Europa he will become a bonified legend and my all time favourite Villa player.

Don't say 'when', FFS!

Edit: oh, and also don't say 'bonified' when you mean 'bona fide'. But just joking on that one 🙂

Over the years I’ve really only had 2 Villa heroes, Brian Little and Paul McGrath, but SJM is about to overtake both. Class in every way.
That is pretty much where I am, although I would also throw in Chico Hamilton (I was young).

Matt Law in today’s DT

“ McGinn sets the tone with the way he charges around the pitch, wins the ball back and utilises his very own “rear of the year”. The way in which McGinn can back into his opponents, stick out his bum and roll past them is unparalleled. Just ask Elliot Anderson, who conceded a free-kick after being beaten by McGinn’s backside.”

We've seen the word legend thrown around too often over the years, Petrov, Grealish, Agbonlahor, etc - they're not even close to McGinn.

If they build a statue of him at VP, may I suggest they build the statue out of him. Hard as granite.

Shame that the Rear of the Year award no longer exists

SJM would be a shoe in

Previous winners included Felicity Kendal and Amanda Holden

Is this a trap?

I'd be with Barbara but I'd be thinking about Margot.

Paul Mcgrath was a Villa legend and attained the status of ‘God’ for us.

How on earth do we recognise one of the best and most important and influential players in modern Villa history ?
