Mings and Digne both signed deals on reduced terms so they could stay longer.  Hopefully SJM does similar as it would add to his 'legend' status.

Footballers always get reduced terms once they're past a certain point in their career. SJM is 31. If he were 25 he'd be picking up way more than he will do in his next deal.
