It was disgusting how he was elbowed by McAllister and the official seemed to not take any notice instead warning McGinn
I thought he was going to have to come off just before half time but was obviously some good medical work done and think he was Super John McGinn last night all in all.  Aside from a yellow card but I think it was necessary.
It's annoying how opponents weren't booked for such fouls on him

Not to be funny or anything but why would you
A/ care
B/ post it on here
C/ think anyone else would care
D/ not post it on the Grealish thread in other football

I couldn't give a toss what that twat says to be honest. And all it does is suggest to me that McGinn (I presume that's who you are talking about) has poor judgement in his choice of acquaintance.

Because Grealo is playing for City tonight and Ginny is supporting them as we all are!

I, like many on here was both surprised and angry when Gerrard took away the captaincy from Tyrone Mings and gave it to SJM but McGinn has proved himself worthy of the position by leading by example and is on the verge of becoming one of the great captain's of this wonderful historical club. Legendary status is not too far away.

I'm so pleased for SJM he's been an outstanding captain led us into the Champions League.

Ask me again when he's sold or retires.

Wonder if he'll get to 10 years with us. Be nice to have someone do it properly, ie by deserving to and playing well, rather than just hanging round, getting fat and collecting his wages for doing fuck all like Agbonlahor.

I would state that at some point we would out grow him, but he seems to raise his level to match where the club needs it to be. Some European midfielder won't know what has hit them, but will have nightmares of two globes clad in white material when they sleep at night.

I think he’s a club legend now. Bought for peanuts in the Championship. Scored the goal to get us promoted. Big part in keeping us up and now captained us to the champions league.

Usually, you’d want a legend to have won something, but I think he’s an exception to that. And he still might anyway.
