For the type of player he is, I honestly don't believe there's a level above his performance today, he was that good. And just when you think you can't love him any more he tells the story of his goal celebration and the meaning behind it.
I've missed that - what's the reason?
Its a great story and sums up the man. The whole McGinn at Villa story from championship to now, is fantastic. He is fast becoming one of my all time favourite villa players. McGinn lifting a trophy as pur skipper would/will be an emotional moment.
I've missed that - what's the reason?
His nephew needs glasses and has to wear goggles when he plays.
Cheers

The weight of Slippy's management skills clearly affected plenty of players - who are now playing better than ever., Watkins, Luiz and SJM have all emerged from Gerrard's grey cloud and are in the form of their careers.

Isn’t it amazing. I mean it’s all been said before, and whilst I knew very well he was used out of position badly, he was a different beast for Scotland, he was so so off it, it was so so sad that the wheels had fallen off a ‘fan favourite’ so badly, I’d grown frustrated and once or twice at least internally thought, the not-so-S-JM.

That he has stepped up to be Captain, that he is in such great form and confidence, he can adapt, and he is our longest serving player that has seen us through so much, that he was the biggest bargain going even without reaching these supreme levels…

There would be an element of good things *do* happen to good people if we lift silverware under him.

He hoists The FA Cup above his head whilst wearing our claret & blue, and that's it, I'm done.

It's staggering to think we, as a Championship side only had to pay £2.5m for him, with nobody else interesting in bidding apart from Celtic.

He was generally quite good for a 20 yarder when it was contract negotiation time.
