They'd probably offer McTominay with a side portion of Kleberson and Bebé in exchange.

Am I the only person that rates McTomminay?  I think he’s a decent DCM.

The only justification for selling SJM as I see it are: 1. Stupid money is offered (>£70m) 2. It unlocks a looming FFP problem that us fans might not be aware of/care about.

Me too, I think he’s excellent. Not as consistently good as Rice but the same sort of player.

I'd swap him for Ward-Prowse.

I wouldn’t. He’s a decent player but just swapping one good player for another isn’t the way to improve a team.

Ward-Prowse is much better though.

I’d swap Dougie for Bissouma as well.

You’re not. I don’t think he’s the world class DCM we would love but he is very versatile. He can do the DCM job, he does score goals and he can play as central defender in Scotland’s 3

In fairness he's been holding the Yanited midfield together this season. The rest are powder-puff and unreliable.

It's kind of harsh on McT, United supporters compare their current midfielders to the likes of Roy Keane and the influence he had on their play. Maybe a fairer comparison would be the likes of Darren Fletcher or Nicky Butt. McT would benefit hugely from having a top midfielder next to him. Fred and Matic are joke players in comparison.

I'm fairly sure there will be a lot of footballers jetting off to Dubai for a break.  Is that Tyrone Mings in the background of McGinn's picture?

So the Mirror is still the same bullshitting crap it's always been.  Oh No?  SJM is going on holiday with Man united players, exclusively, which is what it is implying.  Good job Tyrone is there to protect him.  Oh No, Tyrone Mings is about to join Man United!!

Didn’t the mirror used to be called the Daily Manc anyway as they were so far up Fergusons arse.

Flying from Manchester as well.  Article makes it sound like something of the Inbetweeners.
