His cross field passes need a bit of work....

It's not easy to hit pin point cross field passes when you've gassed your legs because you've done a lot of running immediately before. I think he hit one straight after a quick interchange of passes too and just gauged it wrong. It would be a bit unfair to start picking individual errors out though when we don't know who had Covid, how recently or where they are fitness-wise.

Newcastle play over their midfield anyway so hopefully he wont be a miss.

Just start with Ramsey. Or go and get Morgan Sanson signed up.

6 games in 18 games Smith said after the game so he will have to rotate anyway.

Ideal game for Ramsey and AEG will likely come back in too. Barkley maybe to sit it out from the start.

Can’t even recall SJM being booked, thought yellows tonight were Dougie and Taylor? Oh well.

Guess it means he's fresh for Burnley and Morgan might be in the door by Saturday too. Be happy with Ramsey at 8 against a very limited Newcastle.

Would sanson have to self isolate for a period?

I gave him an 8 today vs Arsenal thought he had super energy and had all requirements in his role. Pressed well and raised his standard.
Good to have him playing so well

Loads of energy today, a right nuisance.  As is often the case with McGinn, if we win he gets an 8, lose and it’s a 6.5. Just lacking that moment of absolute quality to cement his, err quality.

Played well. I'd like to see him in the #10 role.

Yeah thought he was very good today alongside a player in Nakamba who doesn't feed him the ball to drive forward as well as Dougie does.

Always the engine room of the team.
