Could be massive if he's back early March. If we stick with the current 3 at the back, I could see him and Jack playing in front of Marvelous with 2 strikers at home.

And another benefit of getting to Wembley means the Sheffield Utd game gets pushed back giving us more time to get McGinn back for a crucial match.

Isn't it just as likely to be moved to the midweek before the final? It can't be the midweek after as Sheffield Utd have an FA Cup game.

We’d not accept that surely?

Why? Game has to be played sometime. May as well be played before the League Cup Final as before a vital league game. Plus Man City have Real Madrid on the Wednesday so us playing midweek wouldn't be the worst thing ever, especially if it was on the Tuesday.

It's a vital game as well though cd so personally I would try and play it before the Liverpool fixture.

Apparently you can't play prem games on CL nights any longer otherwise FA gets fined which is completely ridiculous rule so that limits the window given FA cup is midweek now.

Perhaps in April sometime. I read if Man. United make semi final of FA cup that will get moved to a midweek so perhaps if Sheffield United are out of the cup by then we could slot that fixture in whatever weekend it is.

Otherwise playing it just after Palace at home could be the best bet.

Get back soon John, and when you do play like you did for the first couple of months of the season.
