Could it be shenanigans to allow one of the owners companies to sponsor the club ?
Comcast ? Fortress or something?

AI reckons it points to a new stadium or a full reconstruction of VP. The long answer is quite compelling (to an optimist like me).

Yeah, the people behind these LLMs want you to feel like that so you keep talking to it. AI knows fuck all, and definitely has no predictive power that's any greater than fat Carl down the pub.

We're about to fulfill the dreams of a great Monosodium Gultamate pinoneer and build the Theme Park.

Its an odd name to have unless directly linked to the ground. No better time for bold plans that totally reconsider the Witton Lane and get it built ASAP.

Yeah, could be. They just reckon that Spurs, Arsenal, Everton, (before new stadiums) and Man City (prior to their campus thing) set up similar structures ahead of any of those things happening.

Fair enough. Perhaps the NSWE lads have been offered the sports quarter at a discount. Although you can't really discount absolutely fuck all, I guess.

^^ More possible AI slop (from Gemini):

It’s accounting shennanigans that will allow them to book profits from The Warehouse & the women’s team against SCR.

A mad thought flashed into my head recently. I know that's nothing new but, here goes...

Given that clubs are using concerts and other events to generate income and this goes towards SCR/PSR calculations, I just wonder whether our owners are on the lookout for larger events venues that might be available to buy. Not saying there are venues available, just wondered if they'd put the feelers out.

I know the club have developed The Warehouse but, as great a beer hall pre-games as it is, at 3,500 seats it's a bit modest when you compare it to the new area at, for instance, Citeh. Perhaps the 'dream' scenario is the NIA/Utilita becoming available. There's nothing to say an entertainments venue has to be on site in Aston.

That would be such a great thing to happen.

I think you will find that creating revenue from non connected activities would not be allowable.

I came to that conclusion all by myself recently but I’ve only got an ‘O’ level in accounts.

I realised when I came back and thought ‘blimey that was quick’.

Paulie posted something the other day though, from UEFA, that more was allowable than I thought. Might be on the FFP thread.
