Let's just agree that both left and right political systems are designed to have us all at each other's throats to keep us from realising that the real evil twats are at the top of the food chain, and therefore we can keep to our main interest of supporting the Villa, eh?

Not sure there are many twats at the top of the food chain who would be left wing so I'm not sure the both siding works, but yeah, this isn't going anywhere.

I am sorry but what a load of shit

I see the huge queues at job centres by the thousands of people arriving in the country illigally each month / year taking good honest British peoples jobs. They are not here to take peoples jobs

I do see that they drain working people resources by putting as much back into society than they take. Unlike a lot of philanthropic billionaires who actually do put something back into the local areas they operate in.

Where do you think the fucking billions come from if they aren't being drained out of society? How can you survive being this fucking dumb?

You're the dumb one if you think that the only way for someone to gain is at the expense of others. This is a fallacy.

And why be so disgustingly rude to someone with a different view to yours?

I know right, is just fucking awful to insult peoples intelligence for no reason...

That's capitalism, stupid.

Better than the alternative.

Moving on

This isn't about having different views though, it's about being able to understand basic logic.

There is a finite amount of money in any economy, it does increase year-on-year through a couple of different mechanisms but fundamentally it's a limited pot. If a small number of people horde more and more of that money then there's less is the system for everyone else. It's that simple. You CANNOT be a billionaire without being a drain on the amount of money available to everyone else.

Whereas someone who uses every penny they get, regardless of where it comes from, isn't a drain because all of the money they get stays in the economy. Billionaires are, effectively, where money goes to die.

How does anyone like you when you are so rude. Someone has a different opinion and they are jumped on by virtue signalling, sanctimonious folk when they know nothing about the poster.

Dilsliking Someone that much for thier own view is tantamount to bullying.

You realise that the people at the top of the food chain are the billionaires that we've been complaining about, right?

Yep, that’s it, it’s all the fault of the foreigners. Billionaires are good. Poor people from abroad are bad. Thick as mince.

Careful your halo doesn't slip.

If only we could all be right like you.

You don't know me so ease off with the personal insults pal

This should probably be in off topic but H&V is so wonderfully fluid, following the profit and tax mitigation wherever it may flow. Full story here, but the key points are:

Quote
Next has announced that it will raise prices on some clothing to offset "an unusually high" £73m increase in staff wages and taxes.

The High Street retailer said that costs will grow due to measures announced in the autumn Budget, including higher National Insurance payments by employers as well as an increase in the National Living Wage.

Next expects profits to rise by 3.6% to more than £1bn next year.

To put it another way: "We don't want to pay more tax or give our low wage grunts a tiny raise. After all, we have to increase our enormous profits." Or, if you prefer, genius people with only philanthropy at heart being stomped on by the woke boot of communism.

'Virtue signallers' has been thrown out there, my favourite of all the insults. I'm quite content with being empathetic.

"I'm only human of flesh and blood I'm made" as Phil Oakey once sang (in the process saving his career without having to contribute too much to society - apart from entertainment - unless you dislike him obvs).

My opinion on him (and Wes whilst we're at it) hasn't changed in the slightest. I'm grateful for what they've done for the club and I have a lot of respect for how they've gone about things but I still think they, like all the mega rich, are at the heart of a huge amount of the worlds problems.

I hate that billionaire owners have become a requirement to compete in the sport. I hate that the ever increasing costs have been driven by massive above inflation price increases for tickets, merchandise, TV subscriptions, etc.

I strongly dislike anyone whose response to a slight change for the worse in circumstances, that have been heavily loaded in their favour for years, is to take their ball and go home. I dislike that some people think the only alternative to that is full on communism so we just have to live with things as they are because the only other option is worse.
