I've had enough of this season already.

Can't wait till it ends.

The Boston Americans?

OK, if you're talking all sports, I should have said "my fourth team" on the basis that Aston Villa are my third team after the Red Sox and Lydney RFC

Villa win and Lansbury to score. He started last season off v well when playing the 10 role and I'm Expecting the same

After last Saturday's effort, he will hopefully be nowhere near taking a penalty if we get one.

If Gabby's playing, I suspect that he'll be the penalty taker

I know its only the first game of the season but we really need to win this one.  The games come thick and fast in August.  Cardiff and Reading away will not be easy, followed by Norwich at home, so a win will give us some confidence going into these games.  Might not be a bad idea not to dick around with Colchester either to get a couple of back-to-back wins under our belt.

Hasn't he scored three out of four for us? Not a disastrous strike rate.

I'd go with a standard 4-4-2

Johnstone (Steer if Johnstone is still injured)

Hutton
Chester
Terry
Taylor

Bjarnson
Whelan
Hourihane
Elmo

Hogan
Gabby

If the two up front isn't working I'd bring Lansbury on and play him behind Hogan 2nd half.

I suspect this is pretty much it. A more likely change ould be to see someone like Amavi come on for Gabby and BB move in behind Hogan.

Think I'd leave Gabby on the bench and play Lansbury giving the option of bringing on Gabby when they are tiring.

Is this the earliest ever sighting of "we really need to win this one"?

I suspect that the defence will be right, Green will play on the left with Bacuna partnering Whelan in midfield and Lansbury will be just in behind Gabby.
