I think we just may benefit from playing a game where we sre not expected to win.

Yeah I actually think we'll nick a point from this, 1-1.

Newcastle every 5th game or so always seem to have a dodgy result in the championship (they've lost home and away to Blackburn) and there's a bit of pressure on them to win as Huddersfield are closing in and they've got to play them and Brighton away in next few weeks.

Probably the sort of game we were having away from home at the start of the season....we'll play better than expected, take the lead, miss more chances and concede in the 89th minute.

I would take that.

We'll get bent over in the potting shed again I reckon.
Charming. For readers who may not be familiar with the vagaries of football bants I believe Robbo is suggesting that Villa's fixture at St.James' Park  may result in a comprehensive defeat for the visitors.
football Bantz? It's a film reference. And not a scud one before anyone says it!

Jedinak in particular along with Bree being fit would make a big difference. The RB position seems cursed - De Laet getting injured now a mystery knee infection for Bree. It seems Hutton has to prevail!

A few clubs and their supporters get on my tit's but I can't say I hate anyone. I'm not really bothered about how other football clubs are doing, 'i'm just interested in The Villa.Over the years my approach sometimes seems to cause me more trouble than actually hating other teams. When I tell small heath or Smethwick fans I don't hate their clubs because I just don't find their teams relevant it seems to upset them more than if I called them every name under the sun. Fuck the others...i'm one of the Villa brothers. .!
Well said brother

There is no "rivalry" with Newcastle. Whenever we play them the only thing I wonder about beforehand is if they are still going on about that fucking banner.

Whoever came out with that banner could have made a fortune. A few thousand  t-shirt's printed with that on the front and taken up to Sunderland could have earned some serious dollar.

Gayle has just had his first kid so the stage is looking set for the custom t or rocking baby celebration. However, I'm still going to stick with my draw prediction. No idea why, I just think something ridiculous will happen and we'll benefit.

That's the second time this week I've seen 'methinks' used and it hasn't resulted in an instant ban.

We have FAKE mods folks, terrible.

I agree with everything you say, LeeB, but never have I agreed with you more.

It's funny that our injured players instantly become potential saviours.
