That lot Again v Jawdies Pre-Match thread

Come on then. Someone's going to have take the hit for this one.

Magpies v Lions.

5-0?

3-0?

Actually I think it'll be 1-1 or we'll win 1-2.

No, seriously.

I'm going into a total media blackout zone from around 7.30pm until 10pm on Monday. I fear that we will be massacred by them.

However, the undying optimism* that football breeds makes me think that stranger things can and do happen. We will scrape a point.

* yes I know it's early and following the Villa drains you of optimism but there are straws to be clutched at!

Head says 4-0 to them, and lots of gloating by their supporters.
I feel for any of our supporters going to watch this.

Heart says Bruce will come out fighting, and we could surprise them, and nick a win. Their supporters get even more wound up by us and we come away happy.

Yeah, 4-0 to them.

We're in good form, got our top goal scorer back, still harbour resentment towards the behaviour of some of your fans. The crowd will be up for this, as will Gayle. Hayden should be back ahead of Colback.

I'm confident Newcastle will win, but don't think we'll have it all our own way as Bruce has something to prove, your players will want to show they can play well in what is essentially a Premier League fixture and you still have decent players.

2-1 to Newcastle.

Aww, did the nasty Villa fans laugh at you?

What is it with stripes and being sad obsessives?

Let's be honest here.  Whoever sent Newcastle down in 08/09 was always going to have a laugh.  It just happened to be us.

Also last year, we expected to be well beaten by you lot at Villa Park as we were shite.  The fact you didn't, coupled with Sunderland beating Chelsea, meant we got to laugh again.

It's nothing personal, it's just the fixture computer gave us a giggle.

As for the game, 2-0 to Newcastle.  As easy a home win as Newcastle will have all season.

Please, I need to know what the 2 voters who have us down as a win are on!!!!Have you been watching the same Villa as me the last 8 matches? However, I really hope you are right as someone is due an absolute thrashing soon.
Bearing all that in mind I'll go Mags to win 3-0
