I don't have a good feeling about this game, despite normally being optimistic. Thanks in anticipation to those who keep the match threads going. I'll be in my mom's company this afternoon, not so subtly following events on my phone.

They've got good home form, Ipswich

I agree it's a tricky tie. Maybe that plays in our favour though, as we do have players who should be able to threaten them on the break. Need the solidity behind them though. Would feel much more confident if Tshibola were able to start

Most Ipswich fans are predicting a draw. They aren't happy with the style of football under Mick, many think they should be playing one in the hole, only 1 Striker has scored other than penalties. They feel they got away with it against Derby in the week and were the poorer side and don't create much.

I've not gone today so i'll probably miss a thumping win for us. A point away from home would normally be a decent result but we could do with a win. I reckon it'll be 1-2,  Kodija and Ayew.

Greetings from a Tesco Cafe on the outskirts of Ipswich.

It's a bit damp and miserable outside

Villa fans in Germany can watch this match on sportdigital (if they have it on cable) or pay 1.99 i think to watch it streamed.

And, those of us here with Bet365 accounts can watch it streaming on their site.

Both of the above also increases the chance of a dodgy stream for those in the UK.
