Gollini
Bacuna - Elphick - Chester - Cissokho
Adomah - Jedinak - Tishibola - Grealish
McCormack
Kodjia

If Jack isn't fit though we can go 3 in the middle and push Adomah up next to Ross to support Kodjia in a 433.

Pretty much the line-up I'd like to see...immediately has a sense of shape about it...if McCormack is out, Ayew.

That's a team capable of winning a game!

Are Ipswich going to name four injured players as well, just to make it fair.

I can't decide if we're due a win or a defeat...fuck it, call it a draw.

I went for a loss. I am feeling a bit down about the club right now.

Can we not just twat one of these hill billy clubs and kick start ourselves in this cess pit division.
Oi! Also East Anglia is somewhere that's not overly endowed with hills...

As Kipeye says the standard of the Championship is not great but they all know how to give their all.
Last Friday's Reading v Ipswich game was poor.
3 wins in our last 44 league games!
The odds of probability mean we must win again soon.
Maybe not this game though, 1-1.

Trying to play all the attacking players weakens our midfield so much right now. I'd almost rather he went 3-5-2 with
Playing Kodija out wide was a classic sign of trying to shoe-horn players into a formation rather than play them in their natural position, or not play them at all.

            CHESTER                     BAKER                   ELPHICK

DE LAIT/BACUNA      TSHIBOLA          JEDINAK               CISSIKHO/AMAVI

                                        GREALISH/AYEW

                                  KODJA                 McCORMACK

                                 Gollini

             Chester      Elphick       Baker
De Laet                                                    Amavi
                               Jedinak
                    Tshibloa      Gardner

                     Ayew             Kodjia

We won't play anything like that but id go 3-5-2 with Amavi and De Laet providing width, Chester's best form came for Hull in this system, it also gives us the solidarity of a 3 in midfield and allows Ayew to play closer to Kodjia.
McCormack, Adomah, Grealish and Gestede on the bench if ee need to change it.

Need a solid lineup away to try and get control of the game or at least frustrate the opposition. You would hope the quality will then shine through. Need Ayew in the team, potentially best player in the division.
It will be interesting to see how RDM's dice fall. Bacuna will be in at RB I assume.

If we don't control the midfield we wont control the game, we all know that. Any formation with a midfield of 2 including fanny boy Westwood will see us struggle to get a hold. If we have to play him play him in a 3 so someone can hold his hand.

We need to get some body on the line defenders in the team, theres plenty of ball players further forward
I would give Baker a go

Baker is more a body on the ground type of defender.

Huge game this, a defeat would make RDM's position nearly untenable I reckon.

Reporting from Santorini, 10th day of 14, before we came away I got excited over the thought of 3 games while here and possibly 9 points, then changed to 7 and now praying for 5 from 3 games but will end up with 3, prediction 1-1
