I like him. As others said, injuries took their toll. I'm not sure he'd have made it in this league, even in peak condition, but in the championship, fit, he was a beast. He made an otherwise depressing season in our first Championship year, enjoyable with his goals. He also got some key goals when Tammy was out, so played his part getting us up. Good luck to him. I don't think many of us expected him to stay beyond last August, and indeed to have much impact in the Prem. Injuries have helped cement that fact, but that's just the way it goes sometimes.

Another forward sold. I wonder if Davis is next?

Never a team player. Lost count on the number of times he could have put a team mate through for a tap in.

Won us some points, but also cost us a lot. Especially after he was crocked.

Developed a really really annoying habit of holding on to the ball too long and opting to attempt to get past four opposition players around him rather than pass to a team mate.

For a while he was good, though.

Leg guitar goal celebration absolutely disgraceful, though.

Wish him the best.

As others have said pre-injury he was a very good championship striker and, for me, would've done a job for a lower prem team that was defensively sound but needed a bit of magic up front.

Post-injury apart from the odd flash he never looked the same player, he lost half a yard of pace and possibly a case of playing in his head too much meant he didn't have the explosiveness we saw in his first year.

£3m is good money and he's moving to a league where I suspect he'll get a bit more time and space and have fun for a couple of years so I wish him well.

Strange how there does not seem to have been any official announcement of this from our end when he has been unveiled by his new club.

As far as DS is concerned he is still in the 'bomb' squad!

I assume the club is trying to avoid backlash on social media etc along the lines of "Can't believe we've sold our only available striker before bringing any in".

Good luck to him, was great in his first series, never quite the same after his first serious injury.
