                                                                                 Gollini

                              Chester                                        Elphick                                           Toner

Lyden                                                                         Tshibola                                                                              Amavi

                               Green                                          Grealish                                           Ayew

                                                                                   McCormack

5 Subs
Bunn
Hutton
Cowans
Westwood
Gestede

Villa HAVE to win these next two home games however unlikely that seems.

Three League games played and six points accrued. An average of two points per match.

We're starting to compete at last.

Fail ;-)

I didn't spot the 5 subs either.

Would have Richards, bacuna or anyone at right back, just no Alan hutton

Wow, what a choice that is!! I'd rather have Fernando Nelson back.

I'd rather have Fernando Partridge or Willie Nelson than either of them two donkeys.

Back Three

6 midfielders

McCormack

Haven't thought about which team you'd pick ?

You're McCleish, Lambert, Sherwood AND Garde.

I claim my £20 .

Rotherham are 4-1 to win.  I hate backing against The Villa but that is tempting.

Chill mate. Not many options really, so I suppose your team might be close to the line up, except that there will be seven subs and, I suspect, Chester will be involved. Four at the back though.

They did ship 5 against a 4th division outfit. They're not the best.

Based on what we have at this minute  (seems likely that Chester will join tomorrow) I'd go with;

Gollini, Bacuna, Elphick, Baker and Amavi at the back.

Westwood and Tshibola as a central two. Grealish in front in the numerous ten slot with Green and Ayew wide of McCormack.

I struggled to name five subs, let alone seven.

Swap Chester for Baker and I am with you.

From what I've seen Tshibola is not a holding midfielder. He seems to lack game management and is not the enforcer I'd hoped for. I think he will be a good player, but not in the holding role.

This is the biggest area that needs looking at for me. When we concede and we capitulate we leave the defence massively exposed. We are crying out for some experience to sit in front of the back 4, not go wandering and break up play. Westwood is not that player, and neither is Tshibola.

The tried and trusted Westwood in mid field with the tried and trusted Bacuna at right back im assuming ?

Great. Cant wait.

Remind me again, what position are YOUR Grealish, Green and Ayew playing in ?

Is it a front four with McCormack ?

Is your line up 4-2-4 ?

Almost any Championship side would walk through your team.
