No I'm making light of a nonsensical point.

I couldn't careless that he came from Barca B. Every 56 minutes he's on the pitch he either scores or creates in a shite team. If we could tape him up and get him on the pitch, his unbelievable pace would cause every single defence in this league a problem, because the common trend in the Championship is the absence of pace at the back.

And if this point needed to be highlighted any more, look at the damage that Luton's left winger did to us last night. a very average winger with a bit of pace caused our back 4 untold problems.

Anyone still think we're going to stroll to the title this season? Time to admit that we're still an absolute fucking shambles and to use the next couple of weeks to try and rectify it. 16 winless games in a row for us, stretching back to fucking February.

We need half a dozen new players ASAP and to sack/sell/drop/have put down pretty much every one of last season's first team leaches. And the next tweet I want to see from Xia is to announce another new signing.

Oh, I'll go for a draw.

Rotherham may be a poor side but if they are organised and determined they'll beat us for sure.

Until we sort out the mental problem by purge or other means, can't see us winning any game in the near future.

We've all thought that for a while but now you've admitted the problem, we can talk openly about it  ;)

I'm not going to get to downbeat just yet despite last night. I'm taking 'confidence' from the fact that we look half decent against Sheff Wed and even looked of last night until the ridiculous decision to put MR centre back.

We need to tighten midfield so I'd like up as follows:
                                            Gollini
    Hutton           Elphick                         Baker          Avami

                 Bacuna                Westwood           Tishbola

                                            Grealish

                            Ayew                     McCormack

I'm sure this would be enough to take the points

the next 2 transfer windows are about buying to stay in the championship, no more. We are a million miles away from promotion, one win in six months proves that.

I'm tired of this happening over and over again, just for once I'd like a team to have to play like eleven Cruyffs in order to leave Villa Park with anything.

I've not seen us play yet, nothing, no highlights, no goals, not a thing. So I should be excited about Saturday, my first game of the season. But I'm not. Right now, I don't want to go. I will, and as the time approaches I don't doubt I'll start to feel optimistic. But right now, to think that come Saturday evening I'll feel anything different to the wretched emotions of last season seems a pipe dream.
