We've played Luton nearly 40 times in competitive matches and managed to win only twice at Kenilworth Road which is pretty shocking; once in the League Cup in 1964 and once in the League in 1989

The final indignity of the Lerner era - by virtue of finishing bottom we go in the first round of the league cup whereas Norwich and Newcastle get a bye.

Never seen us win there, horrible place.

I went there as a kid and vaguely remember Gary Shaw scoring an absolute pearler. I'm sure he flicked it up once or twice and volleyed it in.

Yes me too. I saw the late David Preece scoring a winner for them in late 1984 after I think we'd just sold Steve Foster to them?

Haven't been there, but I've seen it on TV and they kind of look like huts/mini-conservatories. Think they still have them.

I remember Derek Mountfield scoring there early in 1989/90 when I think they still had the away fan ban. They definitely had that terrible plastic pitch.

I was there in the home end, there was still a ban. The only time I remember us getting a win there.

They do, before they built them, I sat in the stand that was there to watch my first ever Villa game in 84, we lost 2-0 I think.
