Please sir - how can Villa be in the 'south' whilst Cambridge are in the 'north'?

Luton away is good but do we have to play in the first round because we finished bottom?

We've played Luton nearly 40 times in competitive matches and managed to win only twice at Kenilworth Road which is pretty shocking; once in the League Cup in 1964 and once in the League in 1989

Who did Newcastle get?

They didn't. They are already in the next round, as are Norwich.

The final indignity of the Lerner era - by virtue of finishing bottom we go in the first round of the league cup whereas Norwich and Newcastle get a bye.

Never seen us win there, horrible place.

I went there as a kid and vaguely remember Gary Shaw scoring an absolute pearler. I'm sure he flicked it up once or twice and volleyed it in.

Yes me too. I saw the late David Preece scoring a winner for them in late 1984 after I think we'd just sold Steve Foster to them?

Have they still got those "executive boxes" down the one side that look like they're in someone's back garden?

Haven't been there, but I've seen it on TV and they kind of look like huts/mini-conservatories. Think they still have them.

I remember Derek Mountfield scoring there early in 1989/90 when I think they still had the away fan ban. They definitely had that terrible plastic pitch.

I was there in the home end, there was still a ban. The only time I remember us getting a win there.

They do, before they built them, I sat in the stand that was there to watch my first ever Villa game in 84, we lost 2-0 I think.
