He'd do better fetching us  a couple of million pounds in the coffers.  He had a bit of luck with the goal not that we didn't deserve the luck but he is not Villa  standard.

Did really well for the goal yesterday, shrugged off a challenge from a defender who was holding him back.

Did well all round, he's clearly better coming off the bench

I said that last week some time. He's a handful when he comes on for the last 20 minutes or so. He's not good enough to be starting games.

If we get a half decent winger, perhaps promote an exciting youngster or two next year who could at the very least match Albrighton, then he would score goals at Championship level. The key is giving him service. We need to create more. There's no point attempting to play that number 10 type of player. They generally don't particularly shine in the Champ, but half reasonable wingers do quite well.
Rudy is a bit pants and very one note but I do like him. He's a trier, he just can't really do much with his feet. That said he's shown he can have a useful impact from the bench at this level.
The level below he'll get us goals I think. Providing we buy a winger or two.
