How heavily do the official website edit foreign player quotes when they give their first interview in a language other than English? It's nice to read the things he's quoted as saying but even allowing for some translation liberties I can't imagine a young kid like him saying all the fawning stuff. It's just too pravda.
i think it's probably just a coincidence that he describes himself as 'young and hungry, just like all the other players'. I honestly don't see why people would think the club's website would put words in his mouth in an interview for the club's website...

Mind you, at the end, he did say "Proud history, bright future"

When he says "we go again" I'll start to worry.

We've professionalized much of the Aston Villa operation in the last few months. From being a comedy show in a number of areas we seem to he headed very much in the right direction. Yet our main form of fan communication from a football standpoint, the persons voice at Aston Villa we hear the most from after the manager and possibly even more in terms of sheer volume is utterly shit. Jack is no doubt a lovely, honest man. But cringeworthy doesn't even do it justice. Just about every question is so completely mundane, and he repeats the same question over and over again. I had to hide the other day when he asked Traore about how great it would be playing in front of the fans at Villa Park. What's the player going to say? "Yes it will be great, but I played at the Nou Camp which gets on average more than three times your average attendance"

Leave Partridge alone. He is unique amongst  his genre. A bit like Eddie Waring was.

I see he played the whole game so he will be in contention Saturday. Maybe as a sub to come on for the last 20 minutes or so, baring in mind he's won't no everyone very well just yet. May well start against Notts.

Altogether now

He's got us a goal and
now he's on a roll, that's

Traore

Well, ran them ragged so Jack could score but it still works!

I only saw highlights and of course he was playing against reserves so I don't want to over react BUT............... bloody hell he looked amazing. Skill full, intelligent , strong and with acceleration that is stunning.

I cannot wait to see him play for us I think he is class. He and Amavi look genuinely like top , top players already and they are so young.

I wouldn't play him at Palace. They have Barcelona style colours so he'll end up thinking he's playing for them.

We need to be patient and not go overboard and expect too much, but he is better than Messi.

Seems fair.

By the way Cowans in the interview after said what I thought "His pace <paused, searching for words> its frightening. He draws players to him then just goes."

He really has amazing acceleration, like stunning.

He'd think the Nou Camp had been subject to a monumental terrorist atrocity.

Messi is no yard stick as he has never won the World Cup🙊
