When it sinks in that the two people whose antics are described above were the team captain and club captain, you really get a sense of just how bad things were then.

and yet if you go on twitter there are plenty of villa fans who tweet at them still about how that video was 'class'.

That's because the majority of people on Twitter are twats.

True but it does mean that there are people who see nothing wrong with it and when it should show just how fucked the club was that they saw it as a bit of 'quality bantz'. It's probably the most inappropriate thing the club that I can recall, even ignoring the clear "them vs us" aspect I can't be the only person who didn't really want to see the players dicking about like that when we were rooted to the bottom of the table and clearly on our way to an embarrassing relegation.

That Richards is now trying to pin most of the blame for it on Garde does nothing to change my view of him.

And what part did Remi Garde play in the "No Frogs" players Christmas party organized by Richards, Agbonlahor, Guzan and the other francophobes after the Newcastle away game?

I had a discussion on Twitter when someone said how crap Remi Garde was. I mentioned how he’d walked into a toxic, basket case of a club and was chucked under the bus by Fox and Lerner.

The reply was “Gabby said he was crap”.

Oh yes, Gabby. That bastion of professionalism. Didn’t like training twice a day did he?

As said before, I’m just thankful the likes of Richards and Wyness are a thing of the past.

I saw richards play a few times for Fiorentina before he joined us. He played right back. Generally sh-t. He would run down the right side, get knackered and not even bother to run back into position when Fiorentina's attacks would break down. He used to do this at Villa also, including when he played cb. No wonder we'd end up with a gaping hole in defence when he played. He had very little positional sense.

A labrador chasing a balloon was the description I think Jon Crofts used about his positional play.

Great at the positional sense as an analyst though. Outstanding even.

A lot wrong with Micah Richards but I believe him 100% over the West Ham story. Wyness has been caught cold.  Can see the blabber falling off him as we chat.

He is also the scruffiest pundit in the history of punditry.  His clothes are no doubt brand new and expensive but his ability to slump in front of a camera camouflaged as a big bag of shit tied in the middle is pretty much the spor on image of his professional journalistic competence.

He doesn't look good but surely that Jamie Bullard takes the biscuit dress sense.

It would be interesting to hear from the french players / players signed from that league, as to how they felt at the time.
