Sorry, can we get over the myth we had great support yesterday. It wasn't great. It matched the team. The support yesterday was poor. Only rarely did the crowd get going.

I heard plenty of Villa chants on TV right up to 2-0 when things understandably went flat as the game was up with the Sanchez wonder shot.

You have to remember the team gave the fans absolutely nothing to work with....not even a corner to get excited about ffs.

Most of the public transportation got people there on time for a three o'clock kick off. My coach pulled in at twenty to two, for a half five kick off. Gates didn't open until half three, and there are three real options - drink, buy stuff at Curry's or Lidl, or visit Brent Library.

You could have bought some high fashion from 2012 in the wembley designer outlet

There were some proper Tarquins there yesterday, and plenty of freshly bought yellow shirts.

Does anyone on here think we are going to get a decent war chest as things sit currently with Randy.
Not a chance in hell, it's going to be the same group with maybe 3-4 leaving and the same coming in.
And these again will be championship players at best, our only possible salvation is that someone comes in before pre season, with money to spend for fun.

I feel so sorry for all you that went on that long journey and had to experience that total utter dross yesterday, but unfortunately I fear the worse is yet to come.

I was right at the back in block 549 and few of the people around me were joining in the singing, even before kick off. It's difficult to do a solo! Difficult as well to hear chants from other areas of our support and to join in with them.

that's just rubbish
up until we realised the performance was not going to get any better it was first class

like others have said there was absolutely nothing in the game to cheer or get us going a bit,

whoever was to blame for yesterdays disaster, it wasn't the fans

There's a few of the arsenal scarves on ebay today.

Look on the bright side. There may be 3 teams worse than us again next season.

I don't understand your point. There was plenty to do. I arrived just before 1pm, had a mooch around the Outlet, met some friends for lunch at Hand Made Burger, tracked down Leeg / Mr Shin and then went inside about 45 mins before KO.

What's the fucking point? I wish I hadn't renewed already. We're never, ever going to compete again. We exist just to exist. Tossbuckets.

“There will be some changes.

“There will be as many as we can possibly do. We obviously know we need to improve and I think I can improve the group that are already here as well.

“I’ve done that since I’ve come to the club and I need to start improving a few more and find different ways to play, which suits some of the boys who haven’t played today.

“We’ll start immediately. Some of the boys have already been told they won’t be here next year or they can go and find other clubs. I like to be that honest with them.

“I don’t want to let experienced players be strung along because I don’t think it’s right. We will be bringing in additions.”

Sherwood.
Possible olive branch for Gil, Sinclair and the like? God I hope so.

Could hear our support clearly on the TV and at 3-0 down there was a rousing 'Holte Enders In The Sky', all things considered I reckon our support did a far better job yesterday than any of the players.

Richardsons block from woolcott at 0-0 is phenomenal.
I thought he was one of the only players who really gave his all. He made a few great challenges too.
There have been occasions at Villa Park when no Man of the Match has been announced because the choice would have been greeted with derision. None of our players had a good game yesterday but I think Richardson was probably the pick of the bunch.
