There was always a strong case that he would be sold but I also thought it was a bit much throwing a young lad into a relegation battle when he's come from a very different culture and has to learn a new language. With how easily he was being knocked off the ball against Stoke and with how he would receive the ball deep into our own half, I can see the sense in that.
Now that he's had a chance to experience the culture, learn the language, get to know his teammates and have a full pre-season with us, he could be a good player in the new look side.
