Attacking midfielder. We'll soon knock that out of him! Joking aside I know sod all about him, but hope that he is the new Messi. And at least Lambert has recognised what we need.

Looks like a young Joe Cole. Clearly likes to run at defenders and attack open spaces. We have nobody like this at the club today so hopefully he is allowed to be the player he is and takes advantage of the possession football we are trying. We need players who can not only create but get into the box to help out the strikers.

 Enormous pressure on this kid.

Hopefully hes the 1st of 3/4 QUALITY players to come in, as Gabby, Joe Cole and Cleverley, from yday, need replacing.

Sources in Spain report it's a done deal. Welcome to Villa, Signor Gil.

It also makes me sad that I can't get excited that we may be signing the right type of player, because we know the manager can't coach the team correctly.

Not had much luck with Spaniards at Villa. The last two have been amongst the most technically inept the nation has produced. Surely third time lucky.

Luna was alright on the ball I thought, it was the fact he was a defender who was crap at defending that was the problem. That's how it seemed to me anyway.

You need to make sure it is http and not https. If it is https just remove the s.

I know I shouldn't but, that made me laugh.  Anyway, Carles; if you do arrive you will be welcome.
