Lambert (relaxed, professional tone of voice): "So, I hope that's everything agreed Carles, and you can sign now"

Carles: 'Yes, I will sign now"

*signs contract*

Lambert: *immediately bursts into tears* "OHMYGOD YOU'VE GOT TO MAKE SOME CHANCES TO SCORE, I JUST CAN'T MAKE THEM DO IT, WE'RE ALL RELYING ON YOU PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE DONT LET US DOWN"

Not before time, and a lot more exciting than say, Wes Hoolahan.  The only drawback is that he might need a while to settle in to the pace of the Prem.

So if we buy Defoe (short term) and Lennon (2-3) years we might look like a good team.

But of course we will not. Senor Gill will be shocked at the technical incompetence and movement of Agbonlahor and Weimann.

This just goes to show how far our once lowly club has risen.
Second time today you've made me chuckle DrG!

Just hope the championship isn't too physical for you Carles.

Yes, that dark cloud of despair hanging over me hasn't lifted yet, need someone decent to play alongside Benteke before the goals return

He's got a really lovely first touch, from what I've seen of him. Quite the contrast from from Weimonlahor.

Welcome to Aston Villa Carles!

Ignore everything Lambert tells you.

Instead, control the ball with ease, run past opposition players with the ball at your feet, pass it someone in a claret and blue shirt, make yourself available to receive a pass now and again and score a few goals.
In a very short time we will all love you.

Well let's hope he can bring some creativity to the team! Let's hope he's not another Luna! He must be blooded immediately the fans need a boost

For me we now need to get a midfielder who can drive at opposition and another winger and I'd suggest then there's a bit of hope

I think the keeper and defence are ok I'd then play one of Sanchez or Westwood but not both to protect I'd go for Sanchez despite he may offer the odd clanger he offers much more than Westwood who needs to do much more

We then have Delph and we need another midfielder with pace who is prepared to take a man on as the likes of cleverley and Richardson are not up to it! I'd rather Richardson than cleverley as he's more mobile! Cleverley can go for me

Then I'd have Gil Benteke and one other I'd love Januzai and Sinclair or Lennon would be better than what we have!

I'd be open to offers for gabby and nzog and be giving weimann a complete rocket

We have players who are not performing they have six months to prove their worth or they can go! They won't think twice if were in the championship

That's Lambert's horse. Notice how he passes it sideways...
