The fact that Lambert is still in a job is a testament to just how much Lerner has lost interest.

Rewarded with a new contract for playing by Lerner's austere rules without complaint, he's got a job and then a pay off till/once we get sold....................... But there's no buyer.

So we're fucked unless there's 3 sides shitter than us again. Incompetent the pair of them.

What kind of difference did you have in mind after only 2 months in the job?

Mr.E, all I can tell you is not to believe all the negativity regarding home games posted on here. The matches are full of free flowing, attacking football played with skill and commitment and an abundance of creativity, verve and tactical nous. Plus, the programme is nice and the coffee served is not at all shabby, buy yourself a half season ticket and come and rejoin the happy throng.

As an aside, I have always regarded people who choose to go to matches as 'supporters' and those who equally love the club but don't go,as 'fans'. I do not then grade or classify further as both are as important as each other and to be honest I have better things to think about.
Wise words, as ever, MLF.
I'll be back, as you well know.

Try and be more positive...if someone could pass that message to our manager that would be appreciated.

If he could try not to embarrass the name of Aston Villa any further that would also be appreciated....

I will be supporting my team and manager at Burnley in two Weeks, that is the only fact I know.

So will I, but I don't come on here and mention it every other day. You're becoming a bore.

Almost as boring as the Lambert out brigade, he isn't getting the sack, so change the subject and try and be more positive.

UTV

But that's the point. He isn't going to get the sack and we know that. that he should get the sack is the point. I and many others don't go to games hoping that Villa lose obviously quite the opposite. But after 3 seasons of poor return on the football front even those of us who were firmly in the Lambert in camp have started to switch. He simply has to go. That won't mean that I won't be gutted if we lose next Monday, but neither will I think he is the best person to take us forward should we get a positive result.

Has anyone ever heard Lambert say anything witty in his interviews?

It may have been mentioned elsewhere, but I noted with interest how passionate Keane was during Ireland's match on Friday night, as opposed to his staring into the ground routine at Villa.

I meant listening to the fans and taking the appropriate action. Sacking Lambert would be a start.

I agree with you totally, when are you planning to tell Lambert? Full credit to you for having the balls to say it as it is to that tosser of a manager. We are so bloody negative week after week after week. Let us know how you get on please!

You would think they would value the revenue of losing money on the gates and associated costs like pies and programme sales etc. Fox is a money man after all Dave.

I think you may find it's not Tom Fox's club.

As I said, God help us if they did things just because the fans wanted it.
