When they sign pogba . Delph will get the odd 15 mins and carling games.

I really hope they sign Pogba now.  Revenge is a wasted emotion but I will get pleasure from seeing Delph on the bench and losing his place in the England team.  Man City also need Pogba to give Chelsea something like some competition.

Yeah Im with you on that one. Totally childish on my part but I would love for that to happen.

Not overly fussed, lost by far better players in the past and survived. Made himself look a bit of a tit in the process though.

He isn't good as Milner, Barry or Young.

We'll be fine.

Spot on, he'll end up at Sunderland in 3-4 years time.

Disagree with both posts

I actually think that's very likely. He really is not very good and Man City fans on the radio this morning are very unhappy at signing what they believe is a very sub-standard player for their level. I agree with them.

I'm not sure you can say he's 'not very good'. He's not good enough for a top 4 club though, well not yet anyway.

That's exactly what I meant, yes, Clampy.

Will be some interesting home games next season if O'Neill gets the gig at Leicester City as is being rumoured this morning

Looks like we have a direct replacement in Gueye and Gil looks to be back in the fold. We could use the £8 mil to get a decent left back. No drama.

Must confess I am gutted Delph is leaving. However having thought about it , he is a good player but not a great player. The reason he was important for the team is that the rest of them mainly are so poor at the level that we are playing at, not that he is outstanding. If he was leaving Arsenal their supporters wouldn't give it a second thought but to us it is more important because of what we have got left at the club.

I disagree. I think he's a decent player but it'll be interesting to see how much game time he gets up there.

Well goodbye Fabian. No hard feelings but you will never be fit to lace the boots of midfielders such as Morty, Sid or Alex Alex Cropley.

I'm finding it hard to understand the anger towards Delph. Do you think it was his idea to come out with those comments? I'm angry towards the club for letting his contract run down, agreeing to an 8m release clause (although they may not have had a choice, we don't know), making and releasing that video, the kit promos that were released only a few days ago. I'd love an explanation for those things.

So basically, everything the club does is wrong, and everyone who shits on them is fine.

Well, no, but the club should be taking more than their fair share of the blame for this. I'd really like to hate Delph right now, but I can't as I feel he's not the main culprit.

I rest my case.

So the player who tells fans that he was here 'for the long haul' then decides to piss off a few moths later is not the main culprit? Really?

It's also incredibly short term on his part.  Pellegrini is probably of at the end of this season if not before if they don't start well.  Who's to say what a Guardiola would want in their midfield.  I doubt it would be Delph.
