The only positive I can come out with about the fucking scabsack is that the contract gave us a shot in the arm when we needed it.  Would we have stayed up and got behind the team as much if we knew he was leaving on a free. In that regard he's certainly contributed to us making tens of millions this season.  He was also part of the eejits that got us in that position anyway.

But then I just think, what a ******.

If someone could load up his little speech again, the one where he says "I'm here for the long term, this is my club, I love being here etc". Really nails the point for me.

Downing, Hodge, Yorke, Unsworth. This is worse. If it happens.
I think in that  video, the bald slimy shit even winks at the camera as he spouts this is my club etc.
fuck off you lying **** . Hope you enjoy the Recaro seats at CiŁy dugout and get some chaffing .

Chuffing wink. Someone once told me never to trust a winker. Bastard. Really bad mood tonight.

He is not a Judas. We finish fourth bottom and he gets to play for a title challenger. Good luck.

Yes, let's all just clap our hands and know our place.

I'm sure that's what Randy wants us to do.

Begovic going to Chelsea is the strangest deal in a while. Top keeper but will just waste away there!

Did Begovic actually sign for them?

Perhaps he was told about how the club was going to change over the summer and he has realised its all bullshit? Or perhaps he is a prat?

In other news, to compound what has been a mixed day, and a shame because we signed a good player, Alex F Tonev is training in Portugal with the first team. I hope they have a bunch of school kids on hand to run and collect the footballs from behind the goal.

Fabian Delph! What a winker, what a winker.....

Look forward to hearing TS on this....

As I said, where was Delph at Wembley? He has been part of one of the worst Villa sides I have ever seen...

Delph
Hodge
Downing

In that order.
At least we got good money for Downing. More than he was worth. Not that it was spent on the team...

We are not fucked without him. He's had a really good season, but in a really shit side. Man City is well above his level and once they realise he ain't that great, the splinters will soon start to dig in. I hope Sherwood has his replacement lined up though. Be that Gueye or someone else. Winker.

He didn't score a single goal. He is definitely replaceable, it's just a question of whether the club have the ambition to do so.

I wouldn't have any issue with Delph leaving if he hadn't come out with that loyalty bullshit in January. He really must have no conscience whatsoever. Certain players have been giving football a bad name for years now but the actions of Delph, and even worse, Raheem Sterling are a new low.

It hurts more because in the scummy world that has replaced the beautiful game it was nice to have one person who restored your faith a little bit. It was nice to have a club captain to be proud of. After that speech, i expected him to be the one that took us forward and dragged this club back to where it belonged. Ironically, less than 6 months later he has fucked us off to go and make big money playing half a season for the plastic club built on oil money. You literally couldn't make it up....i do feel very let down.

I'm finding it hard to understand the anger towards Delph. Do you think it was his idea to come out with those comments? I'm angry towards the club for letting his contract run down, agreeing to an 8m release clause (although they may not have had a choice, we don't know), making and releasing that video, the kit promos that were released only a few days ago. I'd love an explanation for those things.
