Newcastle were a surprise package knocking on the door the other year so you never know. It remains to be seen how we get on in our bread and butter games but our front 3 will always give us a chance. There seems to be more options with the players we've brought in, we seem more organised and the midfield are doing a good job of protecting the defence. After the shit we've been through in the last few years, things are looking up and this season looks like it's going to be a lot of fun.
My more serious answer is 8th.

The strikers already have had a good start, the younger players are improving and if a few of the new buys prove good then that it going to improve us no end.Long term I see us becoming a top six club again under this manager, but for this season I am happy finishing half way up.
