There was a shocking attempt at a 3 point turn by another ACR in a large white van by the church after the game. He got stuck trying to do the reverse part of the manoeuvre so clearly wasn’t the original ACR.

Do you mean in that little bit of dead end road directly outside Aston Parish Church at the junction of Aston Hall Road and Witton Lane ?

I can't find Cilla.

Don't usually quote myself but as this thread has been resurrected, it does seem important to highlight the thought of Dr Xia today attempting to emulate the original Reverser:

Im convinced Dr.Tony Xia was driving up and down outside the Trinity Road stand about an hour before kick off, which I found quite bizarre.

The sequel!

Asian Car Accelerator

According to Amazon, the African Car Reverser and Asian Car Accelerator are frequently bought together.

I had forgotten about the "cycle racks" as I don't enter the ground that way these days. Are they still there?

I remember that relegation 6 pointer midweek game against Sunderland when their coach drove into the car park with Paulo Di Canio stading up at the front grinning doing a Mussolini impression, the daft fascist. I am sure somebody shouted out "it's a tank,  Il Duce, put it into reverse!".

Fascist Tank Reverser?

I was sure there must be a gag in there about that 6-1 win overtaking Sunderland on the road to safety that season?

Something like 'Pass Il Duce on the left hand side' ?

To come the full circle of irrelevance as this thread often wonderfully does, the 7" label that was somewhat 'reworked' previously for ACR, was a reissue of Musical Youth's debut Double A side ‘Political / Generals’ - RARC021V.

As you were.

...which was the ACR’s registration plate too. What are the chances?

I’m convinced the return of this thread will be the required catalyst to see us to promotion.

Job done.

He, or maybe She, only reveals their presence to us at chosen points in our history.  The Flying Dutchman of B6.   The driving backwards is the clue.  It is code for returning to whence we came.  The very top.  Keep your eyes open for a sighting in the autumn.

I wish there was African Policy Reversing going on, utterly shocking Kenya building their first coal fired power station on Chinese loaned money. Always a good idea if you are near 100% green fuelled, create more energy than you need, have committed to reduce your small dirty fuel footprint and have no coal (but China will sell it you).oh and do it in an unspoiled place why don’t you. Will x 7 their emmisioms. Apparently happening loads of places.
