Tweets flying around and commentary saying that Barker was excluded from bowling.As Umpires spoke and notes were made, only thing that could have happened is that it was discussed at Tea and a decision made to rescind the ban. Strange events!!!

The way the English game is geared towards the national team(s) really does undermine cricket at county level. It's understandable why the game at national level is given priority, but should this really have to devalue county game so much?

This fixture has become a bit of a joke, yet could have had a major influence on the destination of the county title.

It was 20 years ago today that Asif Din hit his magnificent 104 no in the dark in the final against Sussex at Lords.

Need some stoic resistance in the batting. Is Woakes injured? If so, this is becoming a joke! International call-ups and injuries are killing us! Must say well done to Chambers -maybe another Chris Wright?

Officially no!!!! As you can see he only bowled 5 overs....so who knows...he probably felt this 'quad' issue and they just didn't take any chances with him.
He reacted quickly  for the run out.
