Durham will need up score fast runs this afternoon  before the rain arrives and hope to get derby out cheaply in their 2 nd innings if they get enough play tomorrow .
With both teams desperate to win it will be interesting to see if there are any declarations to force a result .

Well Durham aint going that quick, are now: So just 3 per over i would have thought would have pressed on now. Are they assuming Yorks gonna draw so are just ensuring they get at least as many bonus points. A risky business.
Durham 179-2 (60) Derby 298
Surrey 195 & 79-2 Lead by 14
Sussex v Yorks Play due to start at 14:10
Middx v Notts Still raining
Worc 122-3

Risky ploy from Durham- derby really need to try and go for a win so maybe they are expecting a friendly declaration - i see durham very much in the box seat as things stand .

Would still expect both games to end in a draw but durham have more chance of a win than Yorkshire.

Yorkshire 276-6 (100.5) 9 overs to get another batting point. Patterson ct Brown b Magoffin 11

Durham now 236 -4 (84.4) Smith Ct Sub b Footitt 81 Collingwood in now
Worc 189-5 (51.5)

Unlikely to be any more play at Taunton and they reckon heavy rain will hit Derby around 15:30. We will see. Still no play at Lords

Somerset will expect to beat Surrey tomorrow which would put derby under huge pressure to chase a win against Durham - interesting , but as pgw says the weather is closing in .

Still not playing at Taunton.
Yorks moved on to 320-9 6 bonus points but only 28 ahead......Draw all over it
Durham 247-4 (89.3) Currently 4 points should certainly get another 2.
Still no play today at Lords and raining in Worcester now(189/5)

With the exception of Middx v Notts game all games have started this morning, but with the exception of perhaps Somerset all will be draws. Latest:
Derby 298 Durham 287-6
Middx 96-0 Notts 428 No Play so far
Surrey 195 & 137-6 Somerset 260....Somerset need quick wkts to get a win.
Sussex 292 & 166-3 Yorks 326
Pears 217-6 Hants 428

All these results will do is confirm Bears safety not that they were in any real danger and i imagine aid Notts survival.

Somerset should win easily now which means derby really need to go for a win - maybe a run chase and set durham a target is thir best hope of survival - could be an interesting game .
Yorkshire looking a spent force at Sussex so all eyes on derby and Durham .

Not sure Durham will be too happy with Sussex cutting a deal with Yorkshire, if Yorkshire go on to win the game!!!

The way Derbyshire are batting they don't need to worry about Yorkshire.

Derby 61-9 - huge step towards the title for Durham - yorks must win now to stay alive realistically.
