Surely we can treat it a bit like a one day knock? There must be at least 40 overs to go? Put Clarke and Evans up the order to get things moving. Whatever happens, a great effort considering our depleted bowling attack!

It's not good to see but i daresay warwickshire would do the same in his position and have indeed done so on occasions.

It's still an insane rule. If the batters want to carry on, they should be given the option to do so unless it is pitch black, if the fielding side want to carry on they should be offered the chance to do so with spinners.

Agreed, they forget people are paying hard earned money to watch and should try to play wherever possible - give the players the option .
