All out, we need 189 to win... probably not enough time but you never know.

Surely we can treat it a bit like a one day knock? There must be at least 40 overs to go? Put Clarke and Evans up the order to get things moving. Whatever happens, a great effort considering our depleted bowling attack!

Our one day form has been shocking so I wouldn't advocate that approach!!

40-0 off 10 overs at tea. 149 needed off 39 overs. It's possible!

149 should be a stroll with all 10 wickets left - that total would be fairly comfortable at T20!! Be great if Darren Maddy finished this off - must be one of his last games?

Sounds like a run v rain chase at Edgbaston. Bears are 92-0 needing a further 97 off 27 overs.

It had better not rain!!

Should offer the batsmen the light if its in doubt - they are ones at risk - stupid change of rule to not give the batsmen the option.

Covers on at the first hint of light rain. 123 for 3. 18 overs remaining.
Did not help that there were constant problems with the footholds. This was not the pitch which was scheduled to be used - that was damaged during the T20.

Trescothic has gone right down oi my estimation with his constant time wasting.

It's not good to see but i daresay warwickshire would do the same in his position and have indeed done so on occasions.

It's still an insane rule. If the batters want to carry on, they should be given the option to do so unless it is pitch black, if the fielding side want to carry on they should be offered the chance to do so with spinners.

I see no logic in the new rule at all.

Agreed, they forget people are paying hard earned money to watch and should try to play wherever possible - give the players the option .

The floodlights had been on for quite a while.

If they want to kill off what is left of the attendances at the Championship games, they  are going the right way about it.
