Let's face it everyone was fearful of just how many we were going to lose by.  So to get anything at all away at a very difficult place is a bonus.  I fear this is what our form is going to be like for the rest of the season ie up and down.

Disappointed at the late equaliser, Holman's 'defending' in the build up to the goal was inexcusable.

The route out of the rut we were in was never going to start with a Brazil-like performance. The second half improvement really ought to be given the credit it deserves. They didn't look like hurting us at all until that bloody goal.

The 'pen' they should have had - the ball actually skipped up off Bennett's knee and immediately hit an arm that was not raised above shoulder height. Definitely no foul. Michu on the other hand should have walked for all that he got up to.

Great pen from Benteke who looked a threat again. Excellent strike from Weimann.

Yes, a couple of cup wins would be perfect preparation for Southampton. More so than having to wait nearly a fortnight without a match.

Dreadful first 30 minutes and Swansea should have buried us, but we showed character to come back into it and a much more even 2nd half- heartbreaking to concede the equaliser right at the death and also worrying to see Westwood pick up what looked a bad injury.

Time now to improve the squad and bring in 3 or 4 players to boost things-

Confidence is a strange beast. One goal before halftime and second half its even fare.

That's all it takes.

We need our best players back and fit and we need reinforcements asap, but there is still quality in the squad. Andi, Benteke, Clarke, Lowton and Westwood are all good enough. Chuck in Vlaar, Gabby and three more players for the spine and we will move up this league.

Can't complain too much about that result, considering the penalty they should have had.

Disagrees shouldn't have even been a free-kick!

Bloody hell that was the most obvious penalty I have seen this season!

got to agree. We were looking right down the line (admittedly from the away end) but he was a few feet inside the box and appeared to move arm to ball.

They should have been out if sight after 20 mins, our defence / midfield was non-existent. Weimann's goal gave us a lift & 2nd half was even.

Halsey is a cnut & was the worst ref in the premiership unil Dowd appeared, never gave us a thing but any Swansea player they ended up on the floor got a free kick, linesman gave the penalty.

Special mention to Clark who was awful for the first 30 mins but outstanding in the 2nd half. Westwood's injury looks bad, I'd say 6 weeks minimum.

Premiership is the priority, rest them all for the Ipswich game.

regardless of the individual players, I think you have to give them all credit, after the last few weeks they must have been shellshocked

Good point. It's good to know that even after the 3 spankings we're still up for the fight. The one thing this team currently lacks is confidence, every time we score you can see the instant difference in the play. A win against Ipswich should set the lads up nicely for the Bradford game. We can't just rely on battling performances every game, when need to start showing what we can do with the ball.

Certainly wasnt a few feet inside the box - was on the edge of the box and could have gone either way- definitely handball though.

Doesn't sound too good on Westwood judging by Lambert's comments, would be a real blow.

fans of a football club dont criticise every decision made  they look for hope when there is none. Having been off this site over crimbo some of the abuse Lambert and Lerner have taken is shocking. You Fletch and your pal from IOM do nothing to support the club. Hardman? is that an invitation to the Bartons? if so see you against Ipswich. The negativity you spout is shocking.
