fans of a football club dont criticise every decision made  they look for hope when there is none. Having been off this site over crimbo some of the abuse Lambert and Lerner have taken is shocking. You Fletch and your pal from IOM do nothing to support the club. Hardman? is that an invitation to the Bartons? if so see you against Ipswich. The negativity you spout is shocking.
I think the critisism shown towards Lerner is warranted, Lambert's treatment on here by some isnt.

4 4 2 two banks of four a lot more solid lookin Mr Lambert, simple

Except we could have been 4-0 down after 20 minutes. Not so simple in my view

Direct your ire at those deserving it. The Stripey Filth stood up and applauded on 8 minutes, the small time, Coventry, wankers. ****** like them deserve our anger.

Can't complain too much about that result, considering the penalty they should have had.

Disagrees shouldn't have even been a free-kick!

Bloody hell that was the most obvious penalty I have seen this season!

got to agree. We were looking right down the line (admittedly from the away end) but he was a few feet inside the box and appeared to move arm to ball.

Certainly wasnt a few feet inside the box - was on the edge of the box and could have gone either way- definitely handball though.

Totally.  Based on TV coverage, Bennett was more or less on the line, the ball was played from outside the box and landed, I'd say, less than a foot inside the box.  It's debatable if his arm was in or out when it hit his hand, it could have gone either way, and normally Halsey doesn't do us any favours.  Possibly debatable if it was deliberate,  he was so close to it when it was kicked it would have been difficult to get out of the way.  But they tend to be given these days.

Let's all calm down, shall we?

No point in anyone getting themselves banned.

We got a point, not as nice as the three would have been, but a lot better than what we picked up in the last three games.

Yeah essentially my thoughts, the second half particularly was a step in the right direction. It's now vital we address many of our issues in January.

I agree Eastie. Refs are bound to give the free kick if the ball clips an arm that is not at the player's side. Note that Halsey did not book Bennett, which he would have done if he thought it to be deliberate.

As for whether it was in or out of the box, Bennett was swivelling his body as the ball struck his hand so I think it may well have been on the line (but the whole ball wasn't over the line). Either way, Halsey (a thoroughly dislikeable ref) played this situation very well; obviously he was not convinced about it being inside the box.

And it is some sort of justice given the penalty that was awarded at Citeh against Weimann.

We were lucky to get away with the penalty, still on the whole Swansea didn't have enough go against them to warrant the whole team hissy fit at the end. Michu didn't get any card for raising his hands, he crocked Westwood - and I thought he knew what he was doing - and they unsportingly didn't give the ball back after.

They can talk about 'playing the right way' as much as they want but I was surprised by how petulant Swansea were at times.

I'm assuming because Swansea went in front? They must be a right sad bunch of twats.

No - they now clap on 8 minutes to celebrate the 8 goals Chelsea put past us. Small time doesn't even begin to describe them

Taking four points in the season from Swansea is commendable, they're a good team. Disappointing way for it not to be six, but we certainly rode our luck today as well, so fair enough overall.

The Southampton game will be our biggest of the season so far. We absolutely have to win this, otherwise it could be a very uncomfortable second half of the season indeed.

January can, and I emphasise the word "CAN" be a good/ defining month for us....

Ipswich (H)
Bradford (A)
Southampton (H)
West Brom (A)
Bradford (H)
Newcastle (H)
I will be there watching all these games live to see the kids pull through. A big month and again I predict by the end of the month we will be in a much better position than today.
