I'd rather stick with Lambert and what we've got than bring in new players and Di Matteo.

We aren't an underachieving team with seasoned Premier League CHampions throughout out squad! We aren't Chelsea.

If Lerner things bringing in RDM to do the same job at villa is the answer then we really are screwed.

A few people are very adamant on VT that the finance Lambert thought he was getting this month, has been pulled. Would explain why we've not brought anyone in (yet)
If its true that the money has been pulled then I think these RDM rumours may well be true!

If that we're true, and I was Lambert, I'd have walked by now.
We do not want bloody RDM. We want Lambert to turn things around with some backing from Lerner ffs.

I don't want a manager that looks like an onion.

All over Twitter that Soton have sacked Adkins. They clearly want to give us a helping hand in the relegation battle. Guilt over the pen decision?

Put your hands in your pocket Randy or you'll lose a hell of a lot more money.

With you there, we need stability, and replacing Lambert RDM is not going to solve our problems at this stage. The lack of stability at the club is one of the reasons why we are where we are. Another manager to come in to start changing things around again would be a disaster for the club and player's mindsets. Lambert needs a win this weekend, he needs one of his first choice centre backs playing and he needs a bit of luck to take the pressure of everyone. Benteke has start to score a few of the sitter chances he's been missing recently. A win this wkend and  we're up and running and suddenly looking a different prospect. Happy clappy....I think the pills are kicking in....

Spot on. Some people on here are as pig-headed as the Board and Management thinking we can survive without experienced cover coming in.

if we can get out of this with what weve got we will be stronger for it next season,
i hate all this we need 2 centre backs a couple of midfielders plus another striking option, thats not strenghening, thats half a new team

we have defended piss poorly this season, so the only option is to buy more defenders, the midfield is to weak lets bring a money grabbing journey man in to rectify it, its a laod of bollocks
whatever happened to sorting out the problems on the training pitch, building a bit of team spirit and improving our game so we push out of trouble

we have a young sqaud so we should be capable of a bit development and improvement, some of you guys are just playing 'championship manager' if there is a problem there is only one way of sorting it, spend spend pend, its pathetic.
it makes me sick, football never used to be like this totaly dependant on the cheque book, there comes a time when you have to believe in yourself and your talent, that time is now and for the rest of the season, and you can stick the likes of RDM up your arse

i would be gratefull of a couple of decent signings obviously to improve on what we have, but mass signings of experienced crap is not what we want,
a bit more work on the training field and a bit of determination and we have more than enough to get out of this shit position we are in at the moment, this is where PL earns his stripes, where we find out if he has got what it takes

if he makes a couple of signings then great,
if we dont we are not fucked as some of you presume, we have enough quality and yes i said quality in the sqaud to win this battle

Don't be a twat, 'some people' can't do fuck all about it so they don't get their knickers in a twist over every piece of gossip.

I'm not aware of anyone on here who has said that we can cope with a couple of additions before the end of the month. Almost universally, H&Vers have agreed that we need some experience in.

£5m bid for Danny Graham apparently

we dont need a striker ,    midfield and center back and left back please PL.    we have 4 good strikers , one is a top goal scorer , one a beast , one a good finisher and one a villa fan.  Wrong area !!

Which is why there's no way we've bid for him.
